The mysterious masked producer “SN0WMASS” just hit us with a double-whammy, back-to-back pair of releases with his SKUM collab “Bob Williams” and a remix of Tim Schaufert and CASHFORGOLD’s “Gold.”
If you follow SN0WMASS on social media, you’re probably familiar with his hilarious, odd and dark humor. If you listen to the words of Bob Williams, you’ll see an expression of that humor in the form of a wild interview with a drug addict mixed into the angsty and dark beat.
As for the Gold Remix, SN0WMASS steps outside his typically heavy hitting mid tempo to deliver a beautiful future-ballad spin on a smooth house track. Every artist has their own and unique sound, but if I had to compare this track to a similar artist, it seems to be in the style of an Illenium track. This makes sense, as SN0WMASS will be supporting Illenium at The Mid in Chicago Friday December 21st.
On top of supporting Illenium, SN0WMASS will be playing Backwoods Festival this summer alongside names such as REZZ, Space Jesus, Boogie T, Eprom, and much more.
