In May, it was revealed that T.I. and his wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris were under investigation by the Los Angeles Police Department over allegations of sexual assault and drugging. Now, prosecutors will no longer be charging the Harrises, TMZ reports and Pitchfork can confirm. A new declination provided to Pitchfork by the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s office states that “the case is declined due to the expiration of the Statute of Limitations.” The alleged incident occurred in 2005, and the statute of limitations is 10 years.

Though the initial LAPD investigation looked into two alleged cases of sexual assault, today’s filing deals with an incident that allegedly occurred in Los Angeles in 2005. The allegations were made by a woman, whose identity was kept anonymous, when she filed police report with two LAPD officers in April of this year. In the report (which was viewed by Pitchfork), the woman claimed that she was brought to a hotel room by T.I. and Tiny, given a drink by Tiny that she believes was “most likely drugged,” and claimed T.I. penetrated her vagina with his toes without her consent.

Pitchfork has reached out to representatives for the Los Angeles Police Department for further comment.
