Tekashi 6ix9ine might be sitting behind bars, but that isn’t stopping him from dropping his new album – as if he had a choice. In response to a leak of his album, Tekashi had to move up the release. Originally intended to release through through Caroline and Capitol Music Group, which both backed out amidst disagreements after the leak,  DUMMY BOY was released on all major streaming platforms today, via Create Music Group.

The rapper was recently arrested on racketeering and other serious charges. Although he has been linked to a number of crimes, including drug deals, armed robberies and shootings, 6ix9ine insists he’s innocent. In fact, he just plead “not guilty” to the six charges brought against him.

DUMMY BOY features Nicki Minaj, Kanye West, A Boogie Wit da Hoodie, Tory Lanez and more. Given all the superstar collabs, the rapper’s insane popularity, and all the controversy surrounding the name Tekashi 6ix9ine right now, this album just might break some streaming records.
