This Guy Danced His Way Backstage At Kanye’s Coachella Sunday Service

Kanye West‘s epic Sunday Service performance was open to all of Coachella — but if you wanted a prime view from the holy side of the mountain, you either had to be a Kardashian, with the band, in the dancing choir — or this guy.

An Australian musician by the name of Grey Ghost snuck into the elite VIP section of Sunday Service like a breeze. After lining up around 5:30 am and buying himself the proper head-to-toe church attire, he realized Kanye’s entire camp was dressed in similar clothes. Light bulb!

He enjoyed most of the show with the rest of the spectators, but as the two-hour performance came to a close he decided to (literally) dance his way backstage. Security didn’t question him, because he looked legit in his Holy Spirit / Sunday Service getup.

A week later, Grey Ghost updated social media on his backstage adventure:

Ended up hanging alongside Kanye, Chance The Rapper & Kim K & then got to meet my biggest idol Donald Glover (who was as gracious and cool as you’d expect). I hung out got photos as if I was part of the choir, poured myself a champagne, grabbed a bagel and peaced the fuck out. Pretty glad I bought that expensive ass merch bahahaha.

This guy definitely got his money’s worth.

This time one week ago – Kanye’s Sunday Service at Coachella. Craziest and most hilarious day of my life. Here’s how it went down: woke at 5:30am, got thru the gates as they opened. Spent a packet on the Church Merch dusty custom top & bottoms. Watched the show in the guest area standing next to the entire Kardashians, Jayden & Willow Smith, Justin Bieber & Idris Elba lol. Then after the show I realised that security were pushing back everyone except the band/choir whose outfits were all pretty much the same as the Merch I bought. So I put that shit on quick smart and literally danced into the backstage area with the choir as if I was part of the show. Ended up hanging alongside Kanye, Chance The Rapper & Kim K & then got to meet my biggest idol Donald Glover (who was as gracious and cool as you’d expect). I hung out got photos as if I was part of the choir, poured myself a champagne, grabbed a bagel and peaced the fuck out. Pretty glad I bought that expensive ass merch bahahaha.
