The ascent of Addison Rae continues apace. The burgeoning pop star has released the new song “Headphones On,” which arrives with a music video that was filmed in Reykjavík, Iceland, and directed by Mitch Ryan. In the visual, Rae sports neon pink hair and a pair of wired earbuds, rides a white horse, and pouts around various Scandinavian landscapes. Watch the new “Headphones On” video below.

Rae co-wrote “Headphones On” with the song’s producers, Luka Kloser and Elvira Anderfjärd. I’s the singer’s second track of 2025, following “High Fashion.”

Rae released her debut single, “Obsessed,” in 2021, and she shared her first EP, AR, in 2023. The following year, Rae released two more high-profile songs, “Diet Pepsi” and “Aquamarine,” the latter of which got an Arca remix called “Aquamarine / Arcamarine.”

According to a press release, “Diet Pepsi,” “Aquamarine,” “High Fashion,” and “Headphones On” will all appear on Rae’s debut studio album. She has suggested that the album is out on June 6.
