Cardi B has released the video for her single “Money.” Check out the clip, directed by Jora Frantzis, below. The striking visuals feature Cardi in a variety of incredible outfits pole dancing, counting money, and even breastfeeding. She also plays piano naked.
A photo of Cardi on set during the video shoot sparked speculation that her headpiece in the video was a subtle Nicki Minaj diss because Nicki wore a similar piece in the “Ganja Burn video.” Cardi and Nicki have been periodically feuding this year. In a recent interview, Cardi called their beef “bad for business.”
Cardi is up for five Grammy Awards in February, including Album and Song of the Year. In November, Cardi was announced to be the first female performer at the 2019 AVN Awards. Earlier that month, Netflix revealed that she will be one of three judges (the other two being Chance the Rapper and T.I.) in a new competition series called “Rhythm + Flow.” She released her studio debut, Invasion of Privacy, in April.
