Rosalía has shared the Stillz-directed music video for her new song “Tuya,” recorded with Puerto Rican reggaeton producer Chris Jedi. In the video, the Spanish pop star roams the streets of Tokyo and hangs out with a cute dog. Check it out below.
“Exploring is part of who I am as a musician and in the case of “Tuya,” inspirations such as reggaeton, the sounds of Japan, flamenco and gabber techno coexist at the same level.” Rosalía remarked in a press statement.
Rosalía recently headlined a night at Primavera Sound Barcelona, performing a rousing set to a hometown crowd. It had been four years since she last played the festival in support of her 2018 LP, El Mal Querer. Back in April, Rosalía performed at Coachella, sharing the stage with her partner, Rauw Alejandro, and performing tracks from their joint EP, RR.
In 2021, Chris Jedi worked on Bad Bunny and Rosalía’s “La Noche de Anoche.” He also produced the Spanish singer’s recent track “Despechá.”
