Two months ago, YOOKiE were forced to cut their set short (read: kicked off stage) at New City Gas in Montreal for going “too hard.” It’s quizzical, because… that’s what they always do? It’s hard to believe the promoter booked them and thought they were going to play a light set.

Well, somehow, it’s happened again. Last night at Rounders in Tuscaloosa, AL, YOOKiE were kicked off stage one again. Anthony of the duo posted on Facebook, “ON GOD the next person to kick me and my bro off stage is catching THE HEAVIEST hands in EDM. The owner and the promoter r getting bodied. [sic]”

Apparently, even though Rounders seemed to be enjoying their set (at first), they soon grew tired of the heaviness.

Let this be a lesson to promoters: LISTEN TO THE ARTISTS YOU BOOK! It’s just unfortunate this has now happened to YOOKiE twice.
