Lil Nas X‘s “Old Town Road” has created quite the buzz recently. The song’s virality allowed it to climb to number 19 in the Billboard Hot Country Songs Chart, and Billboard removed it, claiming it didn’t “embrace enough elements of today’s country music.” After Lil Nas X enlisted country star Billy Ray Cyrus for an official remix, the track shot to number 1 on the Billboard Top 100, and the young artist shows no signs of slowing down, as he just also enlisted Young Thug for another remix. The rapper, who Lil Nas X considers “one of the biggest pioneers” of the country trap sound, posted a video on Instagram teasing his verse on the track, while shortly after posted a photo with Lil Nas X. The remix doesn’t have an official release date, yet judging by how fast Lil Nas X moves, it will probably be released very soon.
