The talented producer and DJ Eskei83 put out his eye-catching ‘Make The Record Skip’ some time ago and it has gone on to whip up plenty of attention. To give the original some fresh flavours, the What So Not remixer has lent it to a handful of artists to rework.
One of the seven remixes on the EP comes from Eskei83 himself, and it bangs. Served up below as our premiere is his pumped edit, which now features revved up vocals from rapper Sam King. Rolling drums and distinctive patches of melody makes this new version stand out.
The producer says: “Make The Record Skip was my most successful track of 2018 and every time I play it, it takes off! I had to bring it into 2019, so I asked my favorite producers to interpret it their way. Also I wanted to work with Sam King for a long time and asked him to tell the story of ‘Make The Record Skip.’ I’m super stoked that I now have so many dope versions in different styles that I can choose from for my live sets – to make the crowd go so wild that the needle on my record will skip.”
